When we first started with Grandmaster Fanelli, my son was a little shy about going to class. He’s 3 years old and one of the younger ones in the class. However, he’s now come to absolutely love going to practice. He’s learned not only taekwondo skills but also other valuable lessons. He’s learned to use his voice, respect himself and others, and how to value discipline. He loves the days he gets to go to class.

Grandmaster Fanelli has a fantastic approach with kids of all ages. And with his experience, you can see he quickly recognizes what each kid needs to be successful. He individualizes his feedback to the kids. He doesn’t run a class just for the sake of running it and finishing it quickly. He pays close attention to each kid and addresses each need quickly. He can be as fun and silly as he can be serious and disciplined. He is able to be the teacher each kid needs and it’s evident through the class every time. He also encourages kids to apply their lessons of respect and discipline throughout their lives and time at home and school as well. Makes a huge difference! As for the logistics, the facility and space are great. All the equipment is neat and very clean despite the numerous amounts of classes and students each day.
